We are actively seeking applications from individuals keen to take up a career within one of Europe’s leading food processing companies - Dunbia UK, part of the Dawn Group. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team, who have a desire to produce better food naturally.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the achievement of departmental yield and efficiency targets.
  • Ensuring good housekeeping is maintained.
  • Ensuring that Quality, Health & Safety and other Company policies are adhered to.
  • Moving carcasses around the factory.
  • Working in a chilled environment.
  • Use of knives or other equipment to perform meat cutting and trimming.
  • Be aware of and work to departmental SOP’s.
  • Proper use and storage of issued PPE (including chainmail and knives etc.).
  • Responsible for the intake and weighing in of carcasses and ensuring they meet customer specifications.

  • Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be highly motivated.
  • Strive for customer satisfaction.
  • Be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative.
  • Have a keen eye for quality and high attention to detail.
