At our Highland site, we process beef only and have over 300 employees. We’re based in Saltcoats with strong transport links. We are currently recruiting for permanent general operatives to work in the Boning Hall. It’s a fast-paced environment, with targets and customer specifications to achieve. All PPE equipment will be supplied at no extra cost to you.
Shift Type: Monday – Friday 6.30am – 3.10pm
Starting rate: £12.71 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Packaging beef
- Measuring and weighing products
- Moving and lifting products up to 25kg
- Operating packaging machine equipment
- Reporting any potential problems to supervisory staff and onsite meat hygiene inspectors
- Keeping abreast of all food safety and hygiene rules
Qualifications:
- Good time management skills
- Work as part of a team in the factory, packing meat cuts and trims to customer specification on a paced production line to fulfil production targets on a daily and weekly basis
- Assist on the production area & provide support to the production team
- Potentially work in other areas of the factory
- Keep good housekeeping standards in all areas
- Keep up to date knowledge of all products
- Keep up to date with all training to ensure you are trained to complete your day to day role
- Follow work instructions in all areas
- Ensure you comply with Health & Safety regulations
- Ensure all data to be recorded is accurate and up to date
- Ensure quality guidelines are followed for all areas
- Undertake flexible working hours to meet deadlines
