Our leading client are seeking a Patent Formalities Paralegal to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. An ideal candidate for this role will have at least 2 years experience within a busy patent department. A CIPA qualification would be very advantageous for this role. To be successful, you will need sound experience in preparing and filing patent forms, liaising with clients, processing communications etc. Additionally, you should have great communication skills and the ability to work to a high standard with very little supervision. This role consists of working within a fast-paced environment, supporting Patent Fee Earners.
You will be carrying out a varied range of duties including:
- Drafting and filing patent documents.
- Acting as a main point of contact for clients.
- Preparing correspondence.
- Handling recordals etc.
