What experience is required
You will need at least 7 years’ experience working as a Trade Mark Paralegal with at least a couple of years’ experience in coordinating a team of trade mark paralegals. A CITMA qualification is essential for this position. However, if you are currently working within a similar role, then this firm might like to review your CV.
Duties
Duties will be wide-ranging - you’ll be carrying out leadership duties alongside senior paralegal responsibilities.
- handling trade mark prosecution
- drafting and preparing trade mark applications
- onboarding client portfolios
- maintaining accurate records
- recording deadlines
- handling oppositions
- overseeing work carried out by trade mark paralegals
- managing team training
- analysing processes, flagging any issues
