We are working with a leading law firm in London who are seeking a Patent Paralegal Assistant to join their patents team on a permanent, full-time, or part-time basis. A suitable candidate will have experience in assisting patent paralegals / attorneys. Additionally, you will need at least a year of experience working within a similar position. However, if you do have slightly less experience, your application could still be considered. Holding a secretarial or admin qualification could put you in good stead; if you hold the CIPA Admin qualification then this would be excellent, although this is not essential.

Duties:

  • Assisting in preparing important patent-related documents.
  • Diary management.
  • Being a main point of contact for clients.
  • Maintaining accurate case records.
  • Preparing reports, invoices, etc.
  • Providing high quality support to fee earners.
  • Generating appropriate correspondence.
  • Raising cost quotes for clients.
