Overview
We are currently working with a leading law firm in South West England who are seeking an IP Paralegal to join their busy team on a full-time, permanent basis.
A suitable candidate will have existing IP experience within patents, this could be as an Patent Administrator or Paralegal. The CIPA qualification would be advantageous. However, your application will still be considered if you have a wealth of experience. Strong administration and communication skills will be required for this role.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and filing patent applications.
- Ensuring cases within the firm’s IP management database are kept updated, including raising new cases / closing old cases.
- Effectively liaising with clients, via telephone, email etc, answering queries and advising them where possible.
- Acknowledging client instructions and acting upon these accordingly.
- Issuing client invoices.
Qualifications
- Existing IP experience within patents, this could be as a Patent Administrator or Paralegal.
- The CIPA qualification would be advantageous.
