Are you seeking an exciting new opportunity? We are working with a top-rate law firm in South West England, who are seeking a motivated Intellectual Property Paralegal to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
To be successful, you will have at least a year of experience working within a patent support role. Strong patent formalities experience is required as well as docketing skills; those from a records or renewals background may also be considered. A CIPA qualification might be advantageous, but this is not essential.
Within this role, you will be providing high-level administrative support to Patent Attorneys. You will be:
- Drafting and filing patent and design applications
- Acknowledging official communications
- Liaising with IPOs
- Updating clients on their cases
- Maintaining cases within the firm’s IP management system
- Keeping track of important deadlines
