We are working with a leading law firm in Bristol who are seeking a motivated Patent Administrator to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

To be successful, you will have 2+ years' experience working within a patent support role, as an administrator or paralegal. Sound patent formalities experience is required as well as docketing skills. A CIPA qualification might be advantageous, but this is not essential.

Within this role, you will be providing high-level administrative support to Patent Attorneys. You will be:

  • drafting and filing patent and design applications;
  • acknowledging official communications;
  • liaising with IPOs;
  • updating clients on their cases;
  • maintaining cases within the firm's IP management system;
  • keeping track of important deadlines.
