Dawat-e-Islami, a renowned global Islamic charitable organisation with centres throughout the UK, is looking to recruit a caretaker to join their enthusiastic and highly motivated team. The charity is led by individuals with a high level of experience and expertise in their field. We have a very supportive management team who will look after you very well. Dawat-e-Islami is committed to safeguarding children and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The procedures include questioning at the interview stage, verification of appropriate qualification, acquiring references, and necessary safety checks.
The Role
- General domestic cleaning such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, polishing, wiping surfaces down, and maintenance of external grounds
- Housekeeping Duties
- Maintain compliance with all health & safety regulations whilst performing duties
- Carrying out Health & Safety tasks as per H&S department instructions
- Toilet cleaning
- Deep cleaning as and when required
- Cleaning internal windows, doors, and other tangibles
Essential Requirements
- Self-motivated, organised, and professional in approach
- Passionate about raising achievement and providing the best possible service
- Ability to work on own initiative and identify new opportunities
- Ability to relate well to young people and adults
- Basic ICT skills
- Be able to complete online training related to the role
- Portray a positive attitude
Desirable skills
- Previous experience of cleaning (preferred)
