DEPUTY MANAGER, SCHOOL WRAPAROUND CARE
Band 3 point 8, £8,753 per year (pro‑rate). Term‑time only plus inset days (39 weeks). 13.75 hours per week. Scope to work additional hours during holiday club. Start: As soon as possible. Permanent contract with scope to increase contractual hours.
Responsibilities:
- Support the day‑to‑day running of the wraparound care provision, including breakfast and after‑school club.
- Assist with staff supervision and activity planning.
- Carry out safeguarding responsibilities and ensure high standards of care in line with policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the manager to deliver the best possible outcomes for children.
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Relevant childcare or play‑work qualification (Level 3) or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Reliable, professional, caring and motivated team player.
- Flexible and willing to adapt to the needs of children and the club.
- Committed to the ethos of the school.
