Our culture is shaped around three values, which are at the heart of everything we do: client success, one Davy, and building a proud legacy.

As our London office expands, the successful candidate will become a key member of Davy’s wealth management team, managing a book of high-net-worth private client relationships across London and the South East of England. The role befits a mature and experienced wealth manager looking for a new and rewarding challenge in an ambitious and leading wealth management organisation.
About the role
As an experienced, competent Wealth Manager you will be experienced in advising high-net-worth clients and professionally qualified to Chartered status. You will be responsible for providing holistic wealth advice across our suite of investment strategies and financial planning structures. Working alongside our Head of London office and Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for pursuing new business opportunities as part of our expansion programme. You will engage with existing and prospective clients; with an ongoing flow of new client leads generated both through our Director of Business Development and personally.

- Manage long-term, high-net-worth client relationships;
- Have strong, demonstrable experience in advising on holistic financial planning, including pensions and succession planning;
- Develop financial plans for existing or prospective clients, providing them with the appropriate investment advice and structures to meet their needs;
- Develop and implement tailored financial strategies including retirement planning, tax optimisation and estate planning;
- Stay current with pension and tax legislation and regulatory changes to ensure clients receive accurate and compliant advice;
- Proven experience in generating new business opportunities;
- Pursue leads and co-ordinate business development effort alongside our London office’s Director of Business Development;
- Develop junior members of the team to ensure the team deliver the highest standards of professionalism and technical competence.
About you
We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
- Relevant Wealth Management qualification (Dip CII or CISI, ideally to Chartered status) and meet current Statement of Professional Standing requirements (essential);
- Previous experience providing holistic wealth advice on a wide range of products and services;
- Have previously worked as a Wealth Manager, Financial Planner or in a similar role, with at least 3 years of advice experience;
- A demonstrable track record of delivering advice to high net worth clients and achieving new business growth;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong influencing, commercial negotiation and presentation skills;
- A proven team player, with a ‘hands-on’ approach to achieving positive outcomes;
- Ability to deal effectively with conflicting requirements, and adapt and respond at short notice;
- A dynamic individual capable of self-motivated, innovative development;
- At least 3 years’ experience in wealth management, in a client facing advice role;
- Excellent administration and IT skills, including a strong understanding of MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint;
