Davitt Jones Bould provides 8-12 month paid internships for students, working directly with our Commercial Professionals in our Business Services Centre. The placement is ideally suited to gap year students going on to study at University, or undergraduates from all degree disciplines, from data scientists to law students to marketing students, looking to complete a placement year or year in industry. Successful candidates will have a motivated, can-do attitude and will be genuinely interested in working in a leading real estate law firm. It is a perfect opportunity to get a head-start on their career in business.
UNLIKE ANY OTHER PLACEMENT
We deliberately don’t put you through a structured programme. Instead, you will be working in line with the real-time demands of the business, giving you experience of what running a business is really like. You will work directly with a talented team of Davitt Jones Bould people, including colleagues in the Business Services Centre, lawyers based all over the UK and Davitt Jones Bould’s leadership team. You will be given responsibility straightaway for a wide range of tasks – some will play to your strengths, and some will challenge you to learn new skills. Importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to shape your experience around your interests, whether that’s legal work, marketing, operations or technology, ensuring your time with us is both relevant and rewarding. You will be provided with dedicated on-the-job mentoring and training, as well as access to Davitt Jones Bould’s wider training programmes and courses.
WHERE WILL I BE BASED?
You will be based in our Business Services Centre in Taunton, Somerset, and must live in a commutable distance. You will have the opportunity to work from our offices in London and Manchester from time-to-time at the firm’s discretion.
ACADEMICS
- Minimum of 3 A-Levels
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above
You will likely either be currently studying at university or have a deferred place to study at a university.
