We are currently seeking a talented and driven Clinical Governance Co-coordinator to join our Head Office team in Colliers Wood (SW19 2JD). In this role, you will provide support and guidance to clinicians and managers in all aspects of quality and clinical governance and ensure that effective management of risk in a coordinated, systematic, transparent and focused way is achieved.
You will be responsible for supporting the Directors and clinical teams with all aspects of quality and clinical governance management and will provide key support to risk management, governance arrangements, patient safety and quality improvement functions.
- Act as an experienced source of advice for the leadership team in respect of maintaining an integrated governance function ensuring that the team can demonstrate that its services are Safe, Effective, Caring, Well-led and Responsive.
- Support the effective use of systems and processes which ensure that all aspects of clinical risk within DaVita UK are managed appropriately at every level, including incident and accident reporting and smooth administration of any clinical safety incidents.
- Ensure that incidents, risks and complaints investigations are undertaken in a timely manner, that reviews and investigations are undertaken, and internal or external reports are prepared to a high standard.
- To support improved performance and provide regular feedback on compliance against statutory and local requirements to enable the division to increase compliance proactively.
- Lead on the collation of evidence of compliance with the CQC outcomes.
- Collate, and prepare data for relevant reports and committees including, medical outcomes, KPIs, PROMS and PREMS.
- Provide administrative support to meetings and preparation of routine governance and business-related reports.
Evidence of continuous professional development in relevant area:
- Risk management qualification
- Quality Improvement qualification
- Proficient in use of Microsoft applications including, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Familiar with UK regulatory landscape (CQC, NHS England Patient Safety Framework)
- Evidence of undertaking lead roles dealing with risk management, quality of care or patient safety issues
- Experience of undertaking audits/surveys and change management
- Excellent report writing skills
- Experience of dialysis services
- Experience of working in a system delivering remote services
- Knowledge of all stages of the governance cycle and quality improvement process.
- Knowledge of NHS quality and governance strategy, policy and current issues
