This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Private Client Legal Assistant to join a supportive team.
When you join the team with Davisons Law as a Private Client Legal Assistant, you will provide effective support to our Private Client Department.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide full support to our Private Client Solicitors to enable them to operate efficiently.
- Prepare correspondence using our case management system.
- Liaise with clients both on the telephone and in person.
- Administer filing systems which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files.
- Ensure that correct procedures relating to the storage and sending out of clients deeds and documents are followed at all times.
- Provide support and guidance to other assistants as required and at all times work as a team player.
- Undertake any specific training when required to do so and overall to have a responsibility towards self-development.
You will:
- Have experience and knowledge of working within a Private Client department.
- Demonstrate initiative and be able to undertake searches, ID checks and other work on files without dictation.
- Possess high levels of speed and accuracy.
- Have a good telephone manner and be comfortable speaking with clients both on the telephone and in person.
- Be highly organised, methodical, and adaptable.
- Have some experience in using Audio Typing.
- Have an understanding of the concept of confidentiality and how to deal with confidential information.
