Davisons Law is a leading law firm with a strong presence in Residential Property Law. The firm is known for its client-focused approach, high-quality legal services, and investment in our Team’s personal and career development. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with at least 12 months experience providing administrative support in a residential property department.
When you join the Davisons Law Residential Property team as a Residential Property Legal Assistant you will be a point of contact for enquiries and provide administrative support throughout the conveyancing process.
Key Responsibilities:- Administering filing systems which will include opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files.
- Developing and maintaining strong professional working relationships with clients, estate agents and other professionals involved in property transactions.
- Prioritising work and keeping calm under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Providing regular updates and reporting on client matters.
- Having a strong organisation skillset, being IT literate and experienced in using case management systems.
- Being commercially driven and astute, understanding the importance of business targets and their impact on the practice, generating a fee income in line with agreed targets.
- Having excellent administrative, planning, organisation and time management skills.
- Handling client enquiries both face to face, remotely and by telephone.
- Managing new client enquiries and providing quotations.
- Providing quotations to clients and prospective clients both verbally and in writing.
- Supporting the exchange of contracts.
- Drafting completion statements and preparing files for completion.
- Reporting to clients on searches, mortgage contracts and title packs.
- Raising enquiries with seller’s solicitors and replying to enquiries of buyer’s solicitors.
