DP Law is a wellâestablished law firm based in Bridgend and Cardiff and are specialists in all aspects of property law. DP Law became part of Davisons Law in December 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Residential Property Solicitor / Conveyancer to join a supportive team and gain handsâon experience in property transactions.
What youâll do
When you join the team with DP Law as a Residential Property Solicitor / Conveyancer, you will manage your own caseload with minimum supervision in all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions; handling sales, purchases, Deeds of Variation, remortgages, and transfers of equity, right to buy, shared ownership schemes, lease extensions ensuring transactions progress smoothly and efficiently. You will have a relevant qualification (i.e. solicitor, CILEx, CLC) or have experience of managing your own caseload.
Key Responsibilities
- You will have a minimum of 5 years PQE.
- Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with new and existing clients, estate agents and lenders.
- Manage own work allocation must have proven track record as a Residential Property Solicitor / Conveyancer Fee Earner.
- Process cases on a timely and costâeffective basis.
- Strong organisational skillset, IT literate and experience of using webâbased case management systems.
- Be commercially astute, understanding the importance of business targets and their impact to the practice, generating a fee income in line with agreed targets.
- Supporting/development assistants and paralegals.
- Work on freehold, leasehold, and shared ownership properties.
- Experience of handling client enquiries both face to face, remotely and by telephone.
