This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Residential Property Solicitor / Conveyancer to join a supportive team and gain hands-on experience in property transactions.

What you’ll do

As a Residential Property Solicitor / Conveyancer at Davisons Law, you will manage your own caseload with minimal supervision, handling all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, Deeds of Variation, remortgages, transfers of equity, right to buy, shared ownership schemes, and lease extensions. You will ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently.

You should have a relevant qualification (e.g., solicitor, CILEx, CLC) or experience managing your own caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, estate agents, and lenders.
  • Manage your work allocation, demonstrating a proven track record as a Residential Property Fee Earner.
  • Process cases in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Possess strong organizational skills, be IT literate, and experienced with web-based case management systems.
  • Be commercially aware, understanding business targets and their impact, and generating fee income in line with targets.
  • Support and develop assistants and paralegals.
  • Work on freehold, leasehold, and shared ownership properties.
  • Handle client enquiries face-to-face, remotely, and by telephone.
