This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Private Client Solicitor to join a supportive team and provide legal advice and assistance to Clients on matters related to wealth management and estate planning.
What you’ll do
When you join the team with Davisons Law as a Private Client Solicitor, you will manage your own case load with all aspects of wills and probate, trusts, lasting power of attorney and trusts ensuring transactions progress smoothly and efficiently. This role will require undertaking fee earning work, working both independently and as a member of the team, maintaining existing relations with Davisons Law Clients and to assist and help develop new relationships with new Clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of the Davisons Law Private Client Department and the Company in growing its client base through delivery of an excellent service, your local connections and by supporting networking events.
- Be passionate about developing and maintaining strong professional working relationships with clients, and referrers.
- Have financial control of your own matters regarding cash flow through collection of monies on account and billing procedures.
- Recognise fee-earning opportunities and develop as appropriate.
- Manage own work allocation must have proven track record as a Private Client Solicitor.
- Process cases on a timely and cost-effective basis.
- Strong organisational skillset, IT literate and experience of using case management systems ensuring files are maintained and kept up to date.
- Be commercially astute, understanding the importance of business targets and their impact to the practice, generating a fee income in line with agreed targets.
- Supporting/development assistants and paralegals.
- Experience of handling client enquiries both face to face, remotely and by telephone.
- Have a firm and functional knowledge within Private Client law, continuously updating your legal knowledge and staying informed about relevant legal developments.
