This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Civil Litigation Solicitor / Legal Executive to join a supportive team and gain hands-on experience in Civil Litigation.
What you’ll do
When you join the Davisons Law team as a Civil Litigation Solicitor / Legal Executive, you will manage your own case load with minimum supervision. The successful candidate will handle a variety of civil disputes, providing legal advice and representation for clients in matters including but not limited to; consumer disputes, landlord/Tenant Disputes, possession claims, debt recovery, partnership disputes, intellectual property disputes, contract disputes, general civil disputes with experience in building & construction disputes and general commercial disputes. Draft witness statements.
You will have a minimum of 2 to 5 Years PQE as a Civil Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with new and existing clients.
- Manage own work allocation must have proven track record as a Civil Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive Fee Earner.
- Prepare legal documents.
- Attend and represent clients in court when requested.
- Gather evidence to support the client's case.
- Process cases on a timely and cost-effective basis.
- Strong organisational skillset, IT literate and experience of using web-based case management systems.
- Be commercially astute, understanding the importance of business targets and their impact to the practice, generating a fee income in line with agreed targets.
- Supporting/development of assistants and paralegals within the Civil Litigation department.
- Have experience in building & construction disputes and general commercial disputes.
- Experience of handling client enquiries both face to face, remotely and by telephone.
