Summary: The Integrative Educational Therapist works in coordination with student and family resources/Safe Schools Clinical Team in providing clinical therapeutic intervention to students and families referred by district case management, local case management, or the Educational Family Resources Facilitator. One year only.
Description: Integrative Educational Therapist: Contract/Salary: 10-15 hours per week / 9 months district teacher/counselor contract (salary table 1 - within district guidelines).
Required Skills: Psychosocial assessment, crisis management, individual and group counseling. Particular areas of importance include mood disorders (depression/bipolar disorders), grief and loss, substance misuse, anxiety disorders, and attention deficit disorders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in social work or related field
- Therapeutic clinical licensure
- Minimum of one year unsupervised clinical therapeutic experience in settings primarily with adolescents.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Spanish speaking
