Talent Senior Quantity Surveyor required to commercially run a prime residential scheme. Happy to employ on a permanent or freelance basis. Our client is a building main contractor based in London and entrusted with some of Britain’s most prestigious properties. Their proven expertise enables them to solve the demanding and technically difficult issues often raised by new and historic buildings alike. The breadth of their experience and skills base means they deliver the whole project - from initial concept through to completion and beyond as needed. They have recently secured a £20m new build prime residential project incorporating 2 storey basement, RC frame construction with very expensive finishes in the Virginia Waters area in Surrey. They are therefore keen to secure the services of an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor.

The Successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be site undertaking responsibilities which will include:

  • Management of subcontract accounts.
  • Negotiation of sub-contract terms and conditions.
  • Monthly valuations.
  • Profit planning.
  • Identification and valuation of variations.
  • Claims notification and generation.
  • Adjudication referrals.
  • Detailed monthly cost/value reporting.
  • Final Account settlement.
  • Responsibilities for managing and mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Management of junior surveying staff.
