Experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor required. We are working alongside a successful London based building main contractor, with a turnover last year of £175m and expected turnover this year of £230m+. Our client's business model is extremely well managed, with a reputation for producing a quality project on time and budget, which results in a large amount of repeat business. They have a £40m prime residential internals package which involves the fit out of the property to an opulent finish.
We are trying to source an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor with ideally relevant experience. The successful M&E Quantity Surveyor will be part of a commercial team ensuring accurate and detailed financial reports are produced. This will include overseeing and managing the subcontract procurement for all M&E project packages and management of subcontract accounts, negotiation of subcontract terms and conditions, monthly valuations; profit planning, identification and valuation of variations, detailed monthly cost/value reporting and the management of all Junior commercial staff working on allocated projects.
We are under strict instructions to provide an M&E Quantity Surveyor that meets the following criteria:
- Strong M&E quantity surveying background with experience of working for a sub or main contractor.
- At least 10 years experience.
- Formal academic qualification.
- Ideally experience of prime / luxury projects.
- Successful career to date.
