Experienced Quantity Surveyor up to 55,000 plus excellent benefits package. Our client, established over 20 years ago, has grown into a leading specialist in groundworks packages, operating across Midlands and South East. They deliver a wide range of projects including groundworks, drainage, reinforced concrete (RC) works, blockwork, steelwork, temporary works, diamond drilling, demolition, and strip-outs.
The Quantity Surveyor will be given an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across the full commercial lifecycle, from procurement through to final accounts. The successful Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in supporting the commercial function and will be confident in managing day-to-day commercial activities on live projects.
Key Requirements:
- The Quantity Surveyor will ideally have all round experience of the commercial issues involved
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a Quantity Surveying role
- Previous experience working for a subcontractor
- A formal Quantity Surveying qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good commercial awareness and technical understanding
- The Quantity Surveyor will live within commuting distance of Northampton
