Experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor – up to £80,000 plus excellent benefits package. Our client, established over 20 years ago, has grown into a leading specialist in groundworks packages, operating across Midlands and South East. They deliver a wide range of projects including groundworks, drainage, reinforced concrete (RC) works, blockwork, steelwork, temporary works, diamond drilling, demolition, and strip-outs. They are currently recruiting for the position of Senior Quantity Surveyor.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be given an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across the full commercial lifecycle, from procurement through to final accounts. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in supporting the commercial function and will be confident in managing day-to-day commercial activities on live projects.

Key Requirements:

  • The Senior Quantity Surveyor will ideally have all round experience of the commercial issues involved.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
  • Previous experience working for a subcontractor.
  • A formal Quantity Surveying qualification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good commercial awareness and technical understanding.
  • The Senior Quantity Surveyor will live within commuting distance of Northampton.
