Planner's Key Responsibilities:
- Master Programme Management: The Planner will be expected to develop, monitor, and update the master programme, breaking down packages based on requirements and deliverables.
- Progress Tracking: The Planner will feed in progress data and compare it against baseline information to track project performance.
- Change Control: Implement and manage change control processes, updating the master programme as necessary.
- Client Interaction: Attend client meetings to understand expectations, gather information, and ensure clear communication.
- Documentation: Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly maintained.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Director, site management teams, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Communication: The Planner will maintain clear lines of communication with all interested parties, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Ideal Planner's Profile:
- Strong proficiency in Asta Powerproject software.
- A minimum of 5-6 years of experience working on high-end fit-out projects.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience in preparing and issuing Notices of Delays and Claims.
- The position is site-based in central London and requires availability 5 days a week.
- PM or assistant PM duties are required.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- The Planner will need to understand a large residential fit out programme.
