About the role: Davion Labs is currently looking to hire an experienced and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join ApeX Protocol. ApeX Protocol is a leading decentralized exchange (DEX) platform dedicated to providing users with a seamless, efficient and secure trading experience in the crypto market. With a focus on innovation and user empowerment, ApeX Protocol aims to redefine the decentralized trading landscape through its cutting-edge technology and comprehensive product offerings. The latest product, ApeX Omni (v2), brings multi-chain liquidity, a flexible, user-first design, and top-tier security with zero-knowledge proofs, making trading safer and more efficient for everyone.
The Business Development Manager will be supporting the ApeX team in identifying and pursuing B2B opportunities, improving brand recognition and promoting financial growth.
Responsibilities:
- Create a growth and user acquisition strategy for targeted communities and markets designed with financial improvement and customer satisfaction in mind.
- Retain and grow the client base by establishing long-term relationships with existing and new contacts, to drive improved volume and revenue generation.
- Take charge of regional user communities on Discord, Telegram and other platforms as necessary.
- Diligently research and proactively reach out to potential partners to onboard them; become their point of contact moving forward and maintain and strengthen client relationships.
- Gather useful information from customer and competitor data to identify profitable business opportunities and advise on the new product offerings to meet the customer's needs and expectations.
- Coordinate with the marketing and other internal teams about planned initiatives as well as client proposals regarding user activation campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales, in the crypto or financial sectors.
- Extensive familiarity with web3 and crypto ecosystems and passion for the Crypto industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent client management, retention and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software and excellent presentation skills.
- Problem-solving skills to propose strategically and mutually beneficial solutions.
- Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients.
