The SPA Key Account Manager for Comfort Zone will play a critical role in building relationships and driving commercial growth with our strategic professional spa partners. The role is responsible for collaborating with key groups, developing joint commercial, educational and PR business plans, driving our Comfort Zone business within their properties, maximizing profitability, and strengthening brand presence. The incumbent combines strong commercial acumen, operational spa experience, multi-site management and a deep passion for the professional skin care industry and brand building. This role is fundamental to the growth of Comfort Zone & Skin Regimen Lx business in the UK and the larger company.
What You Will Do
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key spa partners (e.g., high-end professional group spa businesses), building strong relationships and developing and implementing commercial business strategies for each partner.
- Develop annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs) aligned with company first-brand objectives and achieve set KPIs.
- Forecast sales, manage group budgets, and ensure delivery of revenue, profit, and market-share targets.
- Collaborate with Marketing and product development to forecast new launches, GWP, GWT and other exclusive projects.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the groups.
- Collaborate with UK and Global colleagues from Education, Communication, Digital, and Marketing to deliver group strategies.
- Develop, implement event programmes and deliver on sell-out KPIs.
- Provide weekly/monthly reporting to UK Country Manager and Global Teams.
Commercial Strategy & Execution
- Hold monthly meetings with group spa managers on joint business plans to ensure strategy and KPIs are achieved.
- Conduct monthly group meetings to discuss activity, initiatives, education and develop clear communication structures.
- Meet monthly with local spa managers, operations and retail managers to ensure local execution is achieved.
- Lead sell-in and sell-out strategies for new product launches, ensuring successful execution across all touchpoints.
- Analyze sales performance, ROI on activity and education against KPIs and review activity accordingly.
Retail & Merchandising Excellence
- Collaborate with marketing to develop commercial VM strategy for the groups/locations, increasing exposure and delivering on sell-out KPIs.
- Liaise with local spa and retail managers on each VM campaign for clear communication.
- Ensure execution of trade/promo activations, sampling programmes and seasonal campaigns meet strategic goals.
- Work with local retail managers on activities to develop par levels and prevent out-of-stocks.
- Coordinate monthly order calendars to ensure core retail and newness are ordered to meet launch timelines.
Education and Event Management
- Develop annual education plan aligned with overall group strategy.
- Plan education involving treatment, product knowledge, sales, commercial reception, client journey and advanced digital classes.
- Train group TTTs and provide education materials with company spa trainers.
- Manage ambassador programme.
- Collaborate with PR, influencer and digital managers to deliver group strategies.
- Coordinate commercial event strategy with Marketing and PR managers.
- Work with UK and Global teams to manage support and brief from head office.
Relationship Management
- Build long-term partnerships with buyer teams, category managers and retail operations counterparts.
- Represent the brand in key account meetings, business reviews and strategic planning sessions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal marketing, supply chain, finance and education teams.
Customer Service and Orders
- Full accountability for all customer service communication for the groups and follow-ups to satisfactory conclusion.
- Manage all order processing and management for the groups (UK & Ireland).
- Maintain clear communication with the UK warehouse team and Global order and warehouse teams.
Reporting & Analysis
- Track KPIs including sales performance, profitability, forecast accuracy and account-level ROI.
- Provide weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Use data to measure effectiveness of treatment and retail promotions and launches.
Who You Are
- 3–5+ years of key account management or sales experience in spa, beauty or skin care industries.
- 5+ years of operational spa experience at group 4* and/or 5* level.
- Experience working with prestige or premium professional skin care brands.
- Therapist background with CIBTAC, CIDESCO, BTEC, City & Guilds or NVQ.
- Proven experience driving growth within spa businesses.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
- Highly analytical with proficiency in sales forecasting and data-driven decision making.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for spa, skin care, beauty trends and brand storytelling.
- Attention to detail, efficient, problem-solving and solution-driven.
- Strong IT skills and experience with Salesforce, PO Space, Procure Wizard, Web3, etc.
- UK office, field-based role; international travel to Global Head Office as required.
