Join Davin Foods in Barking as Technical Manager and lead food safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement for a fast-paced site supplying high-quality prepared produce to leading hospitality customers. This is a great opportunity for an experienced food manufacturing technical leader to develop standards, lead audits, manage the QMS, and help drive the site from SALSA towards BRCGS readiness.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead the site technical function and QA team.
- Own food safety, legality, quality, and compliance.
- Manage and improve the QMS, HACCP, and document control.
- Lead customer, SALSA, third-party, and environmental health audits.
- Drive technical improvements, KPIs, and corrective actions.
- Support product approvals and site readiness for BRCGS.
What we're looking for:
- Food science qualification or similar.
- Food Safety and HACCP Level 3 or 4.
- Strong technical experience in food manufacturing.
- Background in a high-care or high-risk environment.
- Confident leading audits, compliance, and customer relationships.
- Hands-on, practical leadership style with strong technical judgement.
