Due to our continued growth at Davin Foods, we are looking for an experienced, dedicated and reliable 3.5t multi‑drop driver to join our driving team to deliver fresh produce to various locations including central London.
To be successful within this role you will need:
- Experience driving a 3.5t van
- Strong knowledge of central London areas
- A passion for delivering high‑quality fresh produce to our customers
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a manual 3.5t van to deliver fresh produce to multiple locations including central London areas as per schedule.
- Load and unload fresh produce from van with care to maintain quality and freshness during transportation.
- Provide an efficient, friendly service to create and maintain a client‑driven environment and ensure that all queries are dealt with efficiently and politely.
- Be responsible for the security of the Company property and customer access keys to premises.
- Maintain the security of the customers’ premises during and after entering the premises.
- Communicate all product/invoice discrepancies keeping accurate records of deliveries.
- Adhere to Company Policy in relation to personal hygiene, personal presentation, health and safety, and housekeeping.
- Maintain Company Security policy, ensuring that any suspicious incidents are reported to Senior Management.
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements of the 3.5 Tonne Driver:
- Previous multi‑drop delivery experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence and no more than six points on the licence.
- Strong knowledge of central London.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking skills and customer focus.
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy loads of fresh produce.
- Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends as required.
