Be the difference when it matters most. Davies is growing fast, and we’re looking for exceptional Claims Handlers to join our expanding team in Preston. At Davies, we don’t just handle claims; we shape experiences. Dealing with Accident, Sickness and unemployment claims as part of our specialist team.

What will your day look like:

  • Interacting with a variety of people including customers, insurers, suppliers and colleagues around the country.
  • Ensuring the correct information gets to the right people; you’ll be confident in your written and verbal correspondence and checking policy cover.
  • Reviewing and setting up new claims, appointing contractors and updating claims on internal systems.
  • Prioritising and reviewing diaries in a timely manner.
  • Issuing payments to policyholders and suppliers for settlements.
  • Contributing to team, division and wider business growth and development.

Your day-to-day role will involve communicating with customers via various methods: inbound and outbound calls, emails, SMS and also via our automated claims journey. Always making sure that we communicate with customers via their preferred method to ensure their claims are handled proactively and quickly.

  • You want to find solutions and help customers through their claims effectively.
  • You know your way around the computer and can use MS Word, Excel and Outlook with ease.
  • Work with pace when called to, whilst remaining effective.
