Overview
In this Senior Loss Adjuster role, you will lead complex high-value property claims, focusing on High Net Worth and Major Loss portfolios. You will work within a specialist claims team to deliver expert technical advice and exceptional service to policyholders, brokers and insurers. The position combines hands-on investigation, detailed reporting, and proactive claim management to drive strong outcomes. Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of High Net Worth, Major Loss and complex property claims
- Deliver market-leading customer service aligned to demanding client expectations
- Conduct investigations, site visits and assessments to determine loss cause, extent and value
- Produce high-quality reports and technical recommendations for insurers and clients
- Maintain regular communication with policyholders, brokers, insurers and other stakeholders
- Ensure claims progress aligns with SLAs and performance targets
- Build strong client/broker relationships to support partnerships and growth
- Collaborate with colleagues and specialist suppliers to achieve optimal outcomes
- Identify opportunities to utilise wider Davies Group services for customers
- Participate in a one week in three out-of-hours on-call rota for a key client account
Key requirements
- Proven experience handling property claims within a loss adjusting environment
- Strong knowledge of High Net Worth and domestic property claims
- Previous exposure to major loss claims, or a desire to develop within this area
- Progress towards, or completion of, ACILA, FCILA or an equivalent professional qualification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Outstanding customer handling and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to technical accuracy
