Due to internal promotions and an exciting team restructure, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Billing Assistant to join our high-performing Volume Billing team in Bolton. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering a timely, accurate, and professional billing service, ensuring exceptional support for both internal stakeholders and external clients. Working within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you'll help drive efficiency, maintain high service standards, and contribute to the continued success of the team. Key Accountabilities
- Monitoring and control of the Bolton billing queries and final bill billing inboxes used by the Bolton billing team.
- Ensuring all bill amendment requests are processed in a timely manner.
- Ensuring final bills are processed within 24 hours.
- Ensuring all other bill requests are actioned in a timely manner and any issues communicated to the relevant requester.
- Monitor and control bills at CH status.
- Assisting in the implementation of controls to improve accuracy of all billing processes.
- To provide cover for the absence of other team members and the Bolton Team leader.
- To carry out other general duties as requested by the Billing team leader to ensure that Finance Department objectives are being met.
- Assist with overseeing billing in the office, agile working to meet the needs of the business and team a minimum of 2 days office based.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Good knowledge of Bolton billing processes and relevant bill amendment requests.
- Experience of working in a high volume environment.
- Relevant training of new team members in relevant processes.
- IT literate, the candidate should have a very good understanding of using spreadsheets and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail when transferring and inputting data.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other Keoghs staff members at varying levels (fee earners and partners etc) and external client contacts.
- To take an active role within the Finance department and display excellent team working skills.
- To be flexible in order to proactively assist in the general day to day duties of the finance department.
