Davies Group are looking to recruit a Case Handler to join the VeriRate (Motor Division) Team.
Previous Experience is not essential as full training is given.
Since 2009 VeriRate has worked with large insurance companies and solicitor firms to validate claims for car hire, which are instigated by the non-fault party to a car accident against the at-fault party: this is credit hire. We focus on the cost of the hire charges being claimed by undertaking our own market research into the cost of hire from mainstream hire companies such as Avis and Enterprise. Our market research is gathered and compiled into a Court compliant report using our very own bespoke VeriRate system, which compares the credit hire charges to the mainstream hire costs. These reports are then used by our clients to negotiate the settlement of the credit hire charges being claimed.

What will your day look like:

  • Compiling Court compliant witness statements using the Verirate system
  • Court Attendance when required to provide evidence against the produced reports
  • To become a subject matter expert on car hire and BHR (Basic Hire Rates)
  • Maintain the required SLA levels
  • Input new instruction onto the VeriRate system
  • Attend team meetings at the Preston office when required
  • Assist with incoming calls to the department
  • General housekeeping requirements

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • GCSE In Math and English (Minimum of Grade C or equivalent)
  • Computer Literate
  • Use and Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Good and Clear Telephone Manner
  • General knowledge of civil litigation and court procedure (is a nice to have)
  • Report Writing
  • Presentations (Written and Oral)
  • Excellent time management with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Good organisational skill
