Davies Group is currently looking to recruit a Regional Manager to join our Property Claims Loss Adjusting division. The role is a key function of the business and includes the management and oversight of Loss Adjusters in the designated region, reporting to the Head of Property Adjusting.
You will need to come to us with a strong Adjusting background, ideally with a background in domestic, property owners and commercial claims adjusting, and with an appetite to lead. Duties, Responsibilities & Key Measures:
- Leadership, with an ethos of ownership and accountability.
- Responsibility for service and financial performance of your region.
- Guiding and supporting your team to achieve, using a ‘one team’ approach.
- Ensure technical accuracy of the highest standard.
- Hold team meetings, as a minimum monthly, ideally weekly.
- Produce performance reports for your team, reporting to the Head of Property Adjusting.
- Build effective relationships with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
- Interaction with our clients to maintain and further develop existing relationships.
- Drive proactivity, aligned to company strategy.
- Undertaken some visits, using your experience to support the team.
- To ensure key performance indicator targets are reached and maintained.
- To ensure active progression and control on all cases within your region.
- Understand and effectively implement Company systems and procedures.
- Communicate effectively, to the highest standards, internally and externally.
- Drive a culture of ownership and service excellence within your region.
Skills & Experience:
- High level of previous Property Loss Adjusting experience, ideally in domestic, property owners and commercials claims.
- Experience of major losses is preferable, but not essential.
- Managerial experience preferred, but not essential.
- To be at least progressing towards or completion of ACILA, FCILA or other professional qualifications.
- Top quality interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
- Dependability and persistence are essential.
