The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.

The Senior Technician will be responsible for the accurate and timely recording of data for in scope clients in their selected Policy Administration System (PAS). This involves the full lifecycle of the policy including EPI, written, priced loss ratios, Renewals and endorsements. The main focus is to ensure the timeliness, quality and consistency of data throughout the clients. The Senior Technician will also be involved in the onboarding process of new clients where the level of Data Partnering Service ‘DPS’ will be agreed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality control (second pair of eyes) of Policy Administration on behalf of in scope clients:
    • Original Slip entry both new and renewals
    • Evidence of IELR and RARC
    • Signing queries (where received)
    • Additional entries (endorsements into IRIS)
    • Review of EPI and written on facilities (existing policies maintenance)
    • Review of Bordereaux in line with written where applicable
    • Queries to be raised with Client DPS in first three months
  • Work with Client Data Partner DPS on sample selection each month
  • Month-end Reporting including findings and KPI’s
  • Work closely with DPS and Syndicates in respect of data issue management (monitoring, resolution, reporting, escalation)
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation is received for review
  • Feedback any PAS issues
  • Part of the Data Working Groups

Key Technical Skills:

  • Deep understanding of Lloyd’s and London market processing requirements
  • Good understanding of Lloyd’s/London Market and the broader insurance and reinsurance industry
  • Ability to understand Lloyd’s and Non-Lloyd’s slips and transpose information to client systems, most commonly IRIS
  • Intermediate Excel Essential
  • Understanding of Lloyd’s Reporting
