Are you skilled in credit hire and passionate about delivering outstanding service? We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Credit Hire File Handler to join our team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to investigate complex credit hire claims from a tactical and strategic point. The role of the File Handler is to carry out complex and technical investigations on claims submitted from specific opponents. These claims will be up to £25,000 in value. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an incredible team and gain more experience in investigating credit hire claims with a view to significantly reducing the overall spend for our Insurer clients.

- Education - at least 3 GCSEs or equivalent are essential and a degree is preferable.

- Experience of credit hire is essential. The applicant would be expected to have been working in an environment where they have been exposed to credit hire cases for at least 12 months.

This role offers an opportunity to develop a range of legal skills under supervision. Further career progression will depend on the File Handler aptitude and desire to move to a different business unit dealing with litigated fast track, fraud or multi track work. In addition, opportunities occur for those with leadership potential to move into deputy and then team leader roles.

35 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. This is a hybrid role working 1 day in the office and 4 days from home.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications- Experience of handling Credit Hire files with evidence of managing own case load
- Education - at least 5 GCSEs or equivalent are essential and a degree / LPC is preferable
