As a Product Manager at Davies Technology Solutions (DTS), you will be at the forefront of shaping our product portfolio and driving its success. Reporting to the Director of Product, and working directly with the Product Owner and various other teams, you will be responsible for leading and executing a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with DTS's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Roadmap Ownership: Create and maintain a clear and well-communicated product roadmap that outlines key features, enhancements, and releases, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- User Story Creation: Have extensive experience in user story creation. Creates user stories which are easily understood by the Development Teams.
- Technology First Approach: Maintain a technology first approach utilising and recommending modern technologies where appropriate such as AI/ML/LLM and others.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, design, marketing, and commercial, to drive product success and alignment with company goals.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor products and strategies, identifying areas for differentiation and innovation.
- Financial Accountability: Manage the product budget, track financial performance, and ensure products meet revenue, profitability, and cost control targets and demonstrate clear ROI.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Maintain a deep understanding of user needs through continuous customer engagement, feedback analysis, and user testing.
- Product Launch Excellence: Work closely with the wider team to plan and execute successful product launches, including go-to-market strategies, marketing collateral, and customer and sales training materials.
- KPI-Driven Decision-Making: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of product initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Several years experience in a Product Manager role in product development.
- Proven experience working in Technology or SaaS environments.
- Proven user story creation experience.
- People management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining product roadmaps and strategy documents.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Dedication to delivering exceptional products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
- Experience in regulated industries, such as insurance or banking, is advantageous.
