The Governance Analyst supports the Governance Manager by managing administrative and dayâtoâday responsibilities and deputises in their absence. The role involves collaborating with Product Owners and the Product Support Team to identify and mitigate ITârelated risks, address compliance gaps, and recommend corrective actions. The analyst contributes to Product Assurance, working closely with Product Owners and development teams to maintain product quality and availability. The position requires independent work within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
What will your day look like
- Support the planning and preparation of IT audits, including documentation management and stakeholder liaison.
- Maintain accurate records of audit activities, findings and followâup actions.
- Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective measures.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and the Product Support Team to mitigate ITârelated risks.
- Review audit reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Analyse audit findings and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT audit policies, procedures and best practices.
- Draft amendments to the Product Assurance Process and submit proposals to the Governance Manager.
- Work closely with Group IT Audit Function, QRC, and security teams to address audit requirements and resolve risks.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors as required.
- Support monthly reporting.
- Support Risk Review meetings and assist in managing the UK&I IT Risk Register.
