Description
New Challenge great team environment. You will be qualified to a minimum of I.A.E.A or ATA (VDA) standard with current or experience leading an engineering function for an insurer or independent firm. You will be able to value and negotiate repair costs; provide vehicle valuations; negotiate total loss settlements and have a detailed understanding of salvage categories and claims management.
Experience of vehicle estimating systems such as Audatex and Glassmatix is essential for this opportunity. AQP qualification is preferred.
What will your day look like:
- To produce high quality reports
- Assess, value and negotiate repair costs
- Provide vehicle valuations
- Negotiate total loss settlements
- Have a detailed understanding of salvage categories
- Claims management
- Liaise with Field planning team, repairers and customers
- Support other members of the team as and when the need dictates
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Inspection scope extends from Cars to HGV’s, Agricultural implements, and caravans
- Resolve customer complaints
- Consistency of damage
- Diminution in value
- Ensure instruction to reporting timescales remains within SLA’s
- Contribute to an engaging and collaborative working environment
- Adapt to the constantly changing requirements of the department and the company and perform additional tasks as may be required
