Our Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) team partners with leading global investment managers, wealth managers, asset owners and asset servicers to solve their most complex strategic, operational, and regulatory challenges. As a Consultant in the Asset & Wealth Management team, you will play a hands‑on role in delivering high‑impact advisory projects, working closely with senior clients and internal leaders to drive meaningful change across the AWM value chain. This position is ideal for early‑career professionals with a couple of years industry experience who are ready to accelerate their development in an ever changing, intellectually challenging, consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of client engagements across strategy, operating model design, regulatory change, digital transformation, and risk & compliance within the AWM sector.
- Conduct detailed research, analysis, and problem‑solving to develop insights and recommendations for clients.
- Prepare high‑quality client deliverables, including presentations, reports, process maps, and data analysis.
- Engage directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements, test hypotheses, and support implementation activities.
- Contribute to project management tasks such as planning, tracking milestones, and managing risks and dependencies.
- Participate in internal practice development, including thought leadership, knowledge management, and business development activities.
- Build strong working relationships across the firm and with client teams, representing the consultancy with professionalism and credibility.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Degree qualified in a relevant field such as finance, economics, business, mathematics, etc, or on-the-job experience equivalent.
- Some level of exposure to working in asset or wealth management, investment operations, financial services consulting, or related disciplines.
- An understanding of the AWM industry, including products, distribution, operations, and regulatory landscape, desirable.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work with data and draw meaningful insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and confidently.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high‑quality work.
- A desire to keep learning, improving and growing your knowledge, capabilities and outcomes.
- Driven to deliver high-quality outcomes for our client base.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, SQL, R, C++), advantageous.
- Experience with financial data platforms (Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv) or data warehousing solutions, beneficial.
