Key Accountabilities
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing your own caseload of Small Claims Track litigated matters from instruction through to resolution.
- Developing and implementing effective case strategies on liability and quantum.
- Negotiating settlements with claimants, insurers, solicitors and other parties.
- Drafting witness statements, court documents and other legal pleadings.
- Instructing and liaising with Counsel where required.
- Ensuring all Court and OIC portal deadlines are met.
- Maintaining accurate case management and billing records.
- Delivering against individual performance, quality and client service targets.
- Delegating tasks effectively to maximise efficiency and support team development.
- Providing clients with clear, timely updates throughout the litigation process.
- Ensuring compliance with client guidelines, ISO 9001 standards and SRA regulations.

- Previous legal experience gained through education or a law firm/insurer environment.
- Experience handling legal files or claims matters.
- Good understanding of the Highway Code and basic Road Traffic Act principles.
