About the role
This is more than a paralegal position—it’s a development pathway. You’ll support a high-performing team handling complex and large loss claims, gaining exposure to serious injury cases such as brain injuries, spinal injuries, and traumatic amputations. You’ll work closely with an experienced Large Loss Lawyer and receive structured guidance as your skills grow.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play an active role in progressing cases and supporting successful outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Case support & administration
- Preparing and filing basic court documents
- Managing deadlines, hearing dates, and case records
- Updating systems (CRU, payments, records, and offers)
Stakeholder coordination:
- Liaising with experts, counsel, and courts
- Supporting communication with clients, witnesses, and insurers
- Arranging conferences, hearings, and medical appointments
Evidence & research:
- Reviewing medical records, evidence, and reports
- Preparing summaries and document bundles
- Conducting legal research to support case strategy
As you develop, you’ll also:
- Draft witness statements and instructions to counsel
- Assist with disclosure and evidence analysis
- Attend client meetings and support case progression
What we're looking for
