The Lead File Handler will handle own caseload within the Military Disease department, specialising in NIHL claims (noise induced hearing loss claims) and potentially other disease cases. As well as assume responsibility for supervision of a mini team, this includes but is not limited to cases, bills and general guidance with the view to progress files and develop the team's technical understanding. You will be responsible for managing and progressing claims in accordance with appropriate strategies to secure desired client outcomes at appropriate levels of profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing documents and preparing reports on own files as well as supervising team reports and files.
- Reviewing and approving bills on own files as well as team.
- Technical development of the team i.e. competency framework.
