Description

Keoghs is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic, fast-paced Intelligence Team. The role involves working on various claims, including motor fraud, credit hire, EL PL, and complex injury matters. The analyst will identify relevant intelligence evidence from diverse resources to support case decision-making and resolution.

Responsibilities include conducting searches based on bespoke instructions, capturing and evidencing intelligence in reports, statements, or visual formats, and providing ad hoc intelligence to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze claims files and generate reports for clients and file handlers regarding findings.
  • Research and locate relevant information using desktop systems and analytical techniques to identify potential fraud.
  • Compile profiles on individuals or groups involved in suspected fraudulent activities.
  • Prepare witness evidence and statements for civil court proceedings when necessary.
  • Utilize advanced IT software (e.g., iBase, i2 Analysts Notebook, Excel) to produce intelligence reports.
  • Deliver briefings to lawyers and clients on investigation findings.
  • Develop fraud risk assessment reports related to insurance fraud and fraud rings.
  • Follow the Intelligence Cycle and utilize the NIM framework for reporting.
  • Mentor trainee analysts informally where appropriate.
  • Meet daily chargeable targets and adhere to service level agreements.
  • Record time in accordance with company policy.

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, with 1 unpaid hour for lunch.

Primary Location: Parklands, Bolton Office

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • Understanding of legal frameworks for intelligence disclosure.
  • Ability to draft comprehensive, professional reports.
  • Basic commercial awareness.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Confidence in liaising with clients and presenting logical arguments.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Self-initiative and innovative thinking.
