Overview
Insurance Financial Services Coach role at Davies – you will be responsible for the development of a cohort of apprentices against quality and various KPIs. Provide support and guidance throughout the apprentice’s learner journey to ensure progression against key milestones including qualifications and competencies as defined by the standard.

Responsibilities
- Build a relationship with the apprentice’s line manager (and other employer staff as required) to facilitate development, time commitments, review progress, and align with employer performance measures.
- Conduct skills radar calls with apprentices to understand starting points
- Complete induction presentations and apprentice sign-up administration
- Run monthly meetings with apprentices in the workplace and remotely
- Deliver group sessions in line with the organisation’s curriculum plan and Ofsted requirements
- Respond to the apprentice’s remote queries and/or support requirements
- Measure and assess progress against objectives and milestones of the learner journey
- Undertake bespoke projects to enhance and assist the business
- Complete required documentation to evidence learner work in line with quality requirements, including tracking learners’ off the job activities
- Contextualise learning outcomes to the apprentice’s role and environment
- Advise the apprentice on how work-based experience relates to the knowledge, skills, and behaviours of the apprenticeship standard
- Set activities to develop the apprentice’s competence against the defined apprenticeship standard and learning outcomes
- Advise and coach on relevant evidence to support the creation of a portfolio of work for End Point Assessment
- Support the apprentice in working towards their professional qualification
- Escalate concerns over progress or employer support to the line manager in a timely manner
- Support the apprentice and line manager to achieve by the planned end date
- Support and coach the apprentice in preparation for End Point Assessment
- Attend development/standardization meetings as required
Qualifications & Skills
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience in a similar role within the sector
- Experience of working within Apprenticeships
- Experience of working within a regulatory environment (Ofsted/ESFA)
- Assessor qualified
- Hold a teaching qualification
- At least five years occupational experience in the Insurance sector
- Functional skills in maths and English at a minimum of Level 2
- CII Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Insurance

- Excellent written, verbal and presentational skills
