Shape the Future of Talent at Davies. Ready to move beyond “filling roles” and truly shape how a business attracts and hires talent? At Davies, this isn’t just recruitment—it’s about building the future of our workforce. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll partner with stakeholders to design smart, forward-thinking hiring strategies, connect with great people, and deliver an experience that reflects who we are as an employer. Your work will directly influence how we grow, innovate, and succeed.

Your New Role

This is a varied and hands-on role with real ownership. You’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle while developing creative ways to attract top talent across a mix of entry-level and specialist roles. You’ll work closely with leaders to understand their needs, build strong talent pipelines, and bring fresh ideas to how we show up in the market—from sourcing approaches to employer branding initiatives. No two days will be the same—and that’s exactly how you like it.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Talent strategy & business partnering: Collaborate with stakeholders to design hiring plans aligned to business goals. Advise on market trends and hiring approaches to stay ahead of demand.
  • Attraction & sourcing: Create engaging recruitment campaigns that stand out. Use a mix of channels: direct sourcing, internal pipelines, agencies and partnerships. Build connections with universities, colleges and community networks.
  • End-to-end recruitment delivery: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy to offer and onboarding. Ensure a smooth, consistent and positive candidate experience.
  • Stakeholder & relationship management: Build strong relationships with hiring managers and external partners. Support on interviews, offers, inductions and workforce planning.
  • Continuous improvement & compliance: Monitor recruitment performance through reporting and insights. Ensure processes meet compliance standards (RTW, references, DBS checks, etc.). Contribute to an engaging onboarding journey alongside HR.

What we’re looking for:

We’re more interested in your mindset and approach than ticking every box. If you’re excited by the role, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll likely bring:

  • Experience in a fast-paced recruitment or talent acquisition environment.
  • Confidence managing multiple roles and stakeholders at once.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • The ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Experience building talent pipelines and attraction strategies.
  • Exposure to multiple sourcing channels or employer branding initiatives.

Most importantly, you’re curious, adaptable, and motivated to make a real impact.

Why join us?

  • Make a visible impact – your work directly shapes how we attract and hire talent.
  • Variety & autonomy – take ownership of your roles and how you deliver them.
  • Collaborative culture – work closely with supportive teams across the business.
  • Grow your career – develop your skills in both strategic and hands-on recruitment.
  • Be creative – bring ideas to life, from campaigns to partnerships.
