This role sits in this area and is specifically within the Expert Products area, focusing on the design, delivery and evolution of development solutions for expert professionals.

What do we mean by 'expert professionals'?

Experts are highly skilled professionals whose impact comes from specialist knowledge, judgement and credibility rather than formal authority.

They solve complex problems, provide trusted advice and influence organisational outcomes through expertise.

Our programmes help experts develop influence, consulting capability, communication, stakeholder management, executive presence and commercial awareness.

Key examples would be software engineers, compliance officers or financial controllers.

The successful candidate will combine client consultation, learning design & learning facilitation learning to help clients maximise their influence, effectiveness and contribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build trusted and collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues - working with clients to ascertain bespoke training requirements
  • Execute expert development programmes; design and delivery both virtually and in-person
  • Develop new learning content, workshops and development solutions.
  • Support the evolution of the Expert Products portfolio
  • Work with clients to identify development needs and recommend solutions.
  • Contribute ideas, innovation and best practice to the wider People Development team.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Essential

  • Experience working in Financial Services as a subject matter expert, consultant, adviser, specialist or technical professional.
  • Strong understanding of corporate Financial Services environments and the challenges faced by expert professionals.
  • Ability to draw on credible personal experience, examples and case studies to support learning and development.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and building trusted professional relationships.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience designing development solutions, workshops or learning content.
  • Genuine interest in helping expert professionals maximise their impact.
  • Energised by working in a customer-facing role (a lot of the time)
  • Curious, a continuous learner
  • Adaptable and confident navigating change
  • Ability to travel internationally as required

Desirable Experience

  • Experience facilitating behavioral, professional or people development programmes.
  • Background in psychology, organisational psychology, behavioral science or leadership development.
  • Experience in consulting or advisory roles.
