Are you ready to take ownership of a varied and impactful caseload, helping homeowners and businesses navigate the challenges of subsidence‑related insurance claims? Join our expert team and play a key role in delivering fair, efficient, and technically robust claim outcomes.
What will your day look like:
As a Subsidence Claims Specialist, you’ll manage your own portfolio of domestic and commercial claims from first notification through to settlement. Working from a fully supported home‑based environment, you’ll act as a trusted advisor, coordinating investigations, solutions, and communication between all key stakeholders.
Every day offers something different: one moment you\’re analysing an arboricultural report, the next you’re liaising with surveyors or approving a repair schedule. You’ll use your technical knowledge, problem‑solving skills, and customer‑focused mindset to drive claims to the right outcome.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage a portfolio of domestic and commercial subsidence claims, ensuring work is completed within agreed SLAs.
- Make informed decisions to settle or decline claims within your delegated authority limits.
- Produce, update, and quality‑check building repair schedules using our in‑house Schedule of Rates.
Knowledge and Abilities
- Act as the main point of contact for policyholders, insurers, surveyors, local authorities, and third‑party specialists.
- Maintain clear, professional, and fair communication—promoting our commitment to treating customers fairly at all times.
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers such as arboriculture consultants, site investigation teams, and drainage contractors.
- Oversee the appointment and performance of third‑party suppliers, ensuring their work supports accurate diagnosis and efficient settlement.
- Review surveyor and audit reports to validate findings and support the claim strategy.
