Description

Are you ready to open new doors in your legal career? We are seeking a Claims Handler (CH3) to join our Liverpool team. The claims handler will manage a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims, including PI, from inception to settlement.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims, including PI, from inception to settlement
  • Support the delivery of high levels of service and productivity
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent service
  • Accurately input and maintain data
  • Communicate effectively with clients
  • Mentor, train, and serve as the technical referral point for team members
  • Audit files as required

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, with 1 unpaid hour for lunch.

Primary location is Liverpool Office, with a hybrid working model of 1 day in the office and 4 days from home.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Experience with motor PI claims under the predictive costs regime is desirable
  • Experience with the MOJ portal, stages 1 and 2
  • Pre-litigation experience
  • Handling claims outside of the MOJ and predictive cost regime
  • Mentoring experience is desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to mentor and support new starters
