Description

Keoghs is seeking a Claims Handler (CH2) to join their Liverpool team. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of pre-litigated and Low Value Pre Litigated Motor Claims for our Corporate clients, particularly those with MOJ/OIC Claims Handling experience.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims up to £25k, including high value/complex matters from inception to settlement.
• Identify cases suitable for early litigation with high prospects of success and low risk.
• Support the delivery of high levels of service and productivity.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent service quality.
• Input and maintain accurate data.
• Communicate effectively with clients.
• Mentor, train, and serve as the technical referral point for team members.

Working Hours

35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. The primary location is Liverpool, with a hybrid working model of 1 day in the office and 4 days remote.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Essential: ULR RTA handling experience of pre-litigated matters; litigation knowledge is desirable.
• Full claim cycle experience, including initial quantum assessment, liability investigation, and settlement negotiation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
• Customer service experience.
• Excellent attention to detail, negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to mentor and support new starters.
Desirable: Litigation claims handling, knowledge of Loss of Use/Loss of Standing Charge, mentoring junior team members.
